The Jackal is seen driving a white Alfa Romeo Spider
Line of Events
The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his living by executing murders for the highest price. He soon meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer who tracks him down in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe.
Referenced in Graham Norton i gosti: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024)
In The Day of the Jackal (1973), The Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit a model from an older generation. I have been waiting for The Day of the Jackal ever since I first heard about it.
Then I saw the trailers and my excitement grew even more
Well, after watching it I can say that it certainly lived up to my expectations. Everyone already knows how fantastic Eddie Redmayne is as an actor, but I was still skeptical about him playing this role.
I was wrong because he did absolutely great
Here he plays the anti-hero perfectly and makes you root for him to succeed. This series is best watched in one sitting because I can promise that when you finish one episode you can’t wait to start the next.
I definitely recommend this series
When Redmayne’s character (The Jackal) is on a mission, you are on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. The Jackal reminds me of a James Bond spy character, but gone bad.
