A grief therapist begins telling his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge changes in people’s lives — including his own. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and that he was going to audition people similar to Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch him to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been brought on, sparking interest from other notable actors. Ultimately, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was thrilled nonetheless. First of all, as soon as I saw Harrison Ford and Jason Segal were in it, I was already going to watch it, but after reading all the positive reviews and watching the trailer, my excitement grew even greater. Well, I just finished it and it not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. I’m not saying it’s the best show of the year, but it’s an original, feel-good comedy that will have you laughing every episode. I would definitely recommend it, but make sure you give yourself plenty of time to watch it, because you’ll want to binge-watch it as soon as possible.
