A hapless chef with a gambling problem flees to a Latin American villa, where he assumes the identity of another man. Filmed in the fall of 2021 over 23 days. Jack: It could be much worse… I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie this good that I hadn’t heard the buzz about before. I watched it as a complete coincidence because the poster image was great and 6.8 is a decent score on IMDb. The acting, except for the friend at the beginning, is excellent. The story is tense and ultimately very logical, which is always a surprise with these types of movies. I watch a lot of movies, especially a lot of horror, and I haven’t felt such tension in a movie in a long time. . This movie reminded me of The Gift, so if you liked that, I believe you’ll like this movie too. Overall, I highly recommend it! (Hunter Hunter is the last movie I saw starring Nick Stahl, and it’s also very tense and memorable. I recommend watching it if you liked his performance here.)
